Course

The course will be 3 loops at Ritter Park starting and finishing at the shelter. Each loop will have 5-6 color stations so every runner will have plenty of color-filled fun! We will have a cone splitting the path at each color station so runners interested in not having color thrown on them can stay on the right side (although we can't promise that you wont get some color along the way). 

There will also be a FREE kids fun run starting 15min prior to race start at 5:45pm. This is untimed and there is no need to register (but there will be an option to buy them a shirt if interested), just bring your kids and HAVE FUN! The loop is just under 0.5 miles and is ideally for kids 10 years of age and under. 

Entry Fees

Race entry will be $20 for the race alone or $35 total for the race entry & a t-shirt. Kids t-shirts for the fun run are $15. There will be race day registration but no t-shirt sizes will be on first come first serve basis. Our t-shirts will be white with the race logo (designed for those interested in wearing it for the color run) and we highly recommended bringing your own white t-shirt for the best color run experience if you decide not to purchase one through us!

Awards will be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in the M & F divisions of the 5k race.

Come join us for a fun filled evening at the inaugural Dose of Color 5k organized by Marshall University School of Pharmacy and sponsored by Walgreens to raise money for Huntington's Ronald McDonald House (100% of proceeds from the race will go to the charity). The race start will be at 6pm with a free kids run to kick off the evening 15min prior to start (untimed half mile loop for kids 10 and under). So bring (or buy) your white t-shirt and join us for a color-filled evening of fun for a great cause. Drinks and light snack options will be available at the finish line!
