5K Run or 1 Mile Walk


This 5K run/1 mile walk starts at Magic Island, West Side of Charleston, WV at 9am on Saturday, April 27,2019. Participants travel along Kanawha Boulevard for a mile and runners continue on Florida Street, along First Avenue, up Stockton Street, down Third Avenue, along Grant Street, through the Luna Park Historic District to Hall Street, over to Monongalia Street, to Tennessee Avenue back to the starting point on Magic Island.

1 Mile Walk Registration is $15 until April 10, price goes up $5 on April 11: https://www.ywcacharleston.org/race

Team Registration for both Run and Walk (up to 10 participants) $200 fee (Team Sponsor):  https://www.ywcacharleston.org/race-donate

Walkers – Top 3 Finishers (Male & Female)

1st Place - $20 certificate

2nd Place - $15 certificate

3rd Place - $10 certificate

Team & Individual Awards in the past have included: Best Individual Spirit, Best Team Attire and Best Team Spirit
