9th Annual Trail Run and Hike Against Hunger in Memory of Aaron Parker

What8 mile competitive trail run/4 mile hike
Armco Park was founded in 1935 and the Iron Ore Trail has a section of the old Midland Trail brick road that has been converted to a hiking trail. The newly opened trail is poart of the counties tourism groups bid to add Cannonsburg to an exclusive group of Kentucky Trail Towns. The trail includes a total of 5miles of walking/hiking/biking trails with a 4.05 mile loop and 1.05 miles of access trails. We are hoping to highlight the natural beauty and accessibility to this wonderful trail system.
$25 early entry fee before October 5th 2019 for both distances. $30 race day fees for both distances for day of race registration.
Men/Women 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Awards will be given to top overall male and female runners and top two finishers(male&female) in each age caregory for the trail run (8mile) race only.
River Cities Harvest has been the primary food rescue organization located in Ashland KY that aims to help eliminate hunger by accessing surplus food from retail grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers to supply our partner agencies with FREE food to help further their individual missions of feeding hungry people.
The race will begin at the TRAIL HEAD EAST on the War Memorial side of the park.
