Huntington Roadrunners Club - Club
meeting minutes for May 10, 2010
In attendance: Andrew
Johnson, Ellen Johnson, Teddy Johnson, Pat Riley, and
Steve Cody.
Orders of business:
Insurance – Andrew Johnson is going
to take the lead on issuing Roadrunner Club of America
insurance to club members seeking race insurance.
Website – Pat Riley will finalize
the website over the next few weeks. HRRC will use
space on the Tristateracer.com site and begin to
publicize the website.
Roger Kyle memorial tree – The tree
will be chosen soon. As the money collection is
finalized, we will place the order for the memorial.
Relationship with the WV 5k
Championship Race – HRRC will now be the lead
organization for the WV 5k Championship Race. The Race
will be protected under our non-profit status and will
have a separate HRRC bank account. Roberta Johnson will
be checking into the legality of this partnership.
Steve Cody will be drafting a Memorandum of
Understanding detailing the relationship between the
Race and the HRRC.
Beginner Runner Program – The HRRC
wishes to continue the program with the possibility that
Graham Rankin will take over associated duties.
Officers for 2010 – Andrew Johnson
will assume role as president, Teddy Johnson will assume
role as treasurer.
