WhatAll cyclists will race a 10.4 mile time trial, a 15-20-30-45 minute criterium, and a 28-38-47 mile road race Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning.

The time trial will be basically flat, with a climb over two bridges to cross the river being the only change in elevation.
The criterium course will be entirely flat.
The 28 mile M5/W4/WMasters course will feature one significant climb and one or two minor climbs before a flat run to the finish line.
The 38 mile M4-5/MMasters/W1-2-3 course will feature three significant climbs before crossing two bridges and a flat run to the finish line.
The 48 mile M1-2-3/M3-4 course will feature four major climbs (three in succession in the second half of the course) before a flat run to the finish line.
Entry fees will be $100 per cyclist.
Entry fees will raise to $120 on June 25, 2018.
Registration will close at 11:59 pm July 18, 2018.
There will be NO late, packet-pickup, or day-of registration; you MUST sign up through TriStateRacer.
Awards will be given out in the following categories:
Men's Masters 50+
Men's Masters 60+
Women's Masters 50+
*Each category will also feature a team competition for the three best-placed team members at the end of each event and overall.
The total prize purse for the Charleston Cycling Classic will exceed $10,000. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each race. Overall winners will also receive a custom race jersey in addition to prize money and bragging rights for the next calendar year.
Each category will also include a team competition, where times for the three top-placed cyclists on each team will be taken in account to award team honors.
Proceeds from the Charleston Cycling Classic will be donated to West Virginia Connecting Communities, in an effort to assist the work they are doing to increase acceptance and awareness of all modes of transportation in West Virginia. If you're not familiar with their work, they are a non-profit organization dedicated to education, outreach, and advocacy for bicycle and pedestrian safety on West Virginia's roads.
