Dirt Dash & Rocky Ridge Trail Runs

Dirt Dash is 5 tough yet beautiful miles through the Greenbrier State Forest in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. This is a hilly, mostly single track trail race. You will experience six different trails during this challenging adventure.
Starting near shelter 1 you will head up the paved road approximately .5 miles until you reach the disc golf course. Here you bear left through the field, up the hill by the disc golf and connect to Old Fields trail. Follow Old Fields to Loop A on the right. Loop A winds up, down and around for approximately a mile and shoots you back onto Old Fields for a short bit until you hit Youngs Nature Trail. Here you take a left and stay on Youngs Nature Trail for a quick minute until you see The Holler on the right. Follow The Holler to the end. Approximately 1.5 mi. Take a left at the end touching on Black Bear then taking the next left onto Twin Pines. Twin Pines winds through and connects back with The Holler on the left then straight across Youngs Nature Trail connecting to a short trail back to the shelter area and the finish.

Rocky Ridge is a little more than 9 tough yet beautiful miles through the Greenbrier State Forest in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. This is a hilly, mostly single track trail race. You will experience six different trails during this challenging adventure.
Starting at shelter 1, short run out connection path to Youngs Nature Trail, then a right on Youngs to Black Bear. Follow Black Bear to Old Roads Trail. Take Old Roads to Rocky Ridge. Follow Rocky Ridge to the top of Kate's Mountain. Hang a right on the road and follow back to Youngs Nature Trail on the right. Run down Youngs and take a left at the bottom back to connector path and finish. Total: 15k

First, second, and third place overall female and male winners will receive fun and exciting awards.
This run is an event hosted by the United Way of Greenbrier Valley, serving the communities of Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties.
