Multi-Sport Adventure Tri - 10 Mile Bike, 3 Mile Run and Kayak - 3 mile recreation kayak paddle or 4 mile SUP paddle or 5 mile fast kayak paddle.


Start and Finish is located at the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)  Beech Fork Lake - Stowers Branch Beach  

All transitions (bike, run and kayak) are located at the  USACE Beech Fork Lake - Stowers Branch Beach 

10 Mile Bike Course -  Open Road Course - Mass Rolling Start. Expect a few hills.  It is Wayne County, WV.  

3 Mile Run Course -  A loop course with  mixture of trail, gravel and asphalt.  Expect a few hills  It is Wayne County, WV. 

Paddle Courses - Out and back paddles with a beach finish and short run to the finish line. Recreation Kayak - 3 mile paddle, SUP - 4 mile paddle, Fast Kayak - 5 mile paddle 

Kayak and SUP Relays will paddle the long course 

Entry Fees

Indiividual Entry - $45 

Relay -  $45  

Race Tee's guaranteed to all who register before August 1st.   


Age Groups

No Age Groups   -  Finisher Awards


Finisher Award for all finishers.  The finishers award  will be a 16oz Mason Jar with the Race Logo on the jar.

Top 3 Male and Female in each Classification  -  Recreation Kayak, SUP and Fast Kayak 

Top Relay Team in each Classification-  Kayak - SUP

This is the first year for this event and the race committee.  We are hopinig to establish an Adventure Tri  here in the greater Huntington, WV  area that is reflective of our passion for Adventure Tri's that offers the right degree of challenge and laid back atmosphere for all Adventure Tri athletes to enjoy. The Race committee believes that this is the first WV Adventure Tri to break the paddle portion into Classifications.  The Paddle Classifications are as follows;

Recreation Kayaks - kayaks less then 14.6 feet in length.  

SUP -  If you stand up on it to paddle you are a SUP

Fast Kayaks  - kayaks longer then 14.6 feet in length

The Bike course will be an open road course.  The run course will be on both trails and open roads and the paddle is on Beech Fork Lake.
