Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma 5K Walk/Run 2018

The race course is on rolling hills with an elevation gain of about 318 feet. You will start and finish on the crushed gravel track by the lake. On pavement, you will go up the hill and turn left down the hill toward the soccer fields, cross the bridge to turn around and head back to the finish the same way you came. There will be a water and aid station at the soccer field before the bridge.
Registration is $25.00. Early bird registration is $20 by Fri., Sept. 21. Registrants will receive a t-shirt and free lunch. Registration starts at 10 am, the walk/run starts at 11 am.

Medals will be presented by WSAZ News Anchor Amanda Barren.
This race is sponsored by the family and friends of the late Ann Caldwell, who died of systemic scleroderma in 2004. She was a mail carrier in Barboursville. All proceeds will go the the National Scleroderma Foundation for research for a cure, education, and patient support.
The walk/run will be timed by chip by AP Timing. We will also have a bake sale, charity raffle, silent auction for two quilts, and a fun photo booth.
