Course:
10K METER RACE STARTING AND ENDING BETWEEN 17TH AND 18TH STREETS ON CENTRAL AVENUE IN FRONT OF PARK PLACE. THE COURSE IS MOSTLY FLAT AND INCLUDES THE STREETS OF DOWNTOWN ASHLAND AND A BRIDGE ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER. WALKERS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE. THE COURSE WILL OPEN TO TRAFFIC AT 9:45 AM.
Entry Fees:
Registration by mail: Must be mailed by Friday, June 22 = $15. On line registration and payment through paypal: Must be completed by Sunday, June 24 + $15.
June 25th through race day = $25. Register on site until 7:45 AM.

Age Groups:
14 or younger 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70 and older Also a family category: (pre-registration only) combination of any two immediate family members (both entries must be mailed together)
Awards:
Awards will be presented to the top five overall male and female runners at the post-race party immediately following the race. The top three in each age group also will receive awards. There will be no duplication of awards. You must complete the course to be eligible to receive a trophy.
More Information:
The William E. Irwin trophy will be given to the oldest male and female to finish the race. There will also be a Fun Run for children ages 10 and under prior to the beginning of the race. There is no fee and all participants will receive an award. You may direct questions to summermotion10k@aol.com
