2nd Annual BCS Step Into Summer 5K Run, Walk and 1K Fun Run for Children

5K Run and Walk, 1K Fun Run
Course:
The course begins at the pool and heads to the entrance of the forest and back to the pool. This is a classic out and back course and is great for runners and spectators alike.
Entry Fees:
1K Fun Run $10.00
5K Run and Walk $20.00 Early Registration
5K Run and Walk $25.00 Same Day Registration
**Bring Two Dry Foods to be donated to Union Mission and receive $3.00 off Entry Fee.
**Same Day Registration starts at 7:30.
**Fun Run to follow 5K Run/Walk.
Age Groups:
10- and Under 11-14 (Male and Female) 15-19 (Male and Female) 20-29 (Male and Female) 30-39 (Male and Female) 40-49 (Male and Female) 50-59 (Male and Female) 60-Over (Male and Female)
Awards:
1K Fun Run-All children will receive a medal for participation. The Top 3 Girl and Boy's will receive prize off the prize table. 5K Walk -Overall Male and Female Walkers will receive awards 5K Run-Top Male and Female runners in each age category will receive awards. There will also be a Fastest Family Award added this year!

The Bible Center Christian School is sponsoring their 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk event at the Kanawha State Forest. BCS welcomes this opportunity to connect with the community as well as focusing on the importance of physical fitness as a family. The purpose is to unite the family together and get them involved as a unit. The success of becoming active and remaining active is for everyone to become involved. This is why there is a Fun Run for the children. Children enjoy running just as much as adults, so let’s get them involved! We hope you will join us for this special event!
