35th Annual Kiwanis Run By The River
Russell, KY - Downtown
June 9, 2012 - 8:30 AM

The race courses are out and back, on flat neighborhood streets and the scenic River Road. The course is well marked and policed, with water stations and split times provided. Races start and finish near the old Russell Central School building on Bellefonte Street next to SuperQuik. The run travels through Russell then underneath the Ironton-Russell bridge, giving runners a spectacular view of the Ohio River. It then moves along the River Road toward Worthington. 5K runners turnaround just after the water station while 10K runners continue on through Worthington and back.

Please use our new registration form that accompanies this listing. We expect to use chip timing, making it necessary for participants to tell us in advance which race (5K, 10K, wheelchair, or walker) they are entering. If you have any other questions please email race director Tim Gearhart. Those who preregister are most likely to get the size T-shirt you want; we do the best we can on race day.
